Time is running out to get your name on the ballot for the upcoming Silver Cliff town election.

There are six trustee seats up for grabs in the April 6 election.

Incumbents Sharon Langfeldt, Dave Peterson and Larry Weber are seeking four-year terms. Seeking two-year terms are incumbents Brain Woods and Nora Drenner.

Trustee Jeff Banning has yet to announce if he will seek re-election and Mayor Allen Butler is not up for re-election.

Those interested in running for a seat on the board must pick up a petition form, obtain at least 10 eligible signatures from registered Silver Cliff voters and return the completed petition to the town hall by March 5.

In addition, the last day to register for the municipal election is March 8. Just stop by the county clerk’s office inside the courthouse.

Those wishing to vote absentee can obtain an absentee ballot at the Silver Cliff town Hall through April 2.

On Election Day, which is April 6, the polls will be open at the Silver Cliff town hall from 7 a.m. to7 p.m.
