Three persons were taken to area hospitals over the
weekend following two separate motorcycle accidents along Highway 96. The first accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on
Saturday, Sept. 26. Reportedly, Fred Dodd, 54, of Westcliffe, was riding a
1992 Harley Davidson west on the state highway when he lost control of the bike
near the intersection of Highway 165. Dodd was ejected when the bike went of the right side of
the road. He was taken to On Sunday, Sept. 27, authorities were called to the
scene of an accident near the intersection of Highway 96 and CR 387, the Reportedly, Patrick Cokerham,
61, of Maekawa was apparently trying
to make a left turn onto CR 387. Janet Webb, 62, of Cokerham was transported via
ambulance to an area hospital. The condition of the two is unknown. – |
