Representatives from the Widefield Water and Sanitation District and the City of Fountain will host a community meeting here next week to answer questions regarding the purchase of the H2O Ranch in April 2008.

The public meeting will take place Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Custer County School multi-purpose room.

Fountain acquired the 480-acre ranch and its 700 acre feet of water for $3.5 million from Mund Shaikly. Fountain plans to use the water in its municipal system.

All interested persons interested are invited to attend to receive an update and to ask questions.
