The last day of classes for most Custer County School students will be May 21, however, there are a number of activities planned between now and then.

Today, May 7, the middle school activities banquet will get underway at 5:30 p.m. in the west gymnasium at the school.

On May 8, the freshman class will host a fundraising Fiesta Dinner from 7 to 9 p.m. in the school multipurpose room.

On May 11, high school academic awards will be distributed at 7 p.m. in the school multi-purpose room.

Third, fourth and fifth graders will trek to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on May 11.

The annual high school art show will be held in the school great room from May 11-14.

Senior finals will take place on May 12.

A high school drama will be performed in the school multi-purpose room on May 12 from 4 to 8:30 p.m.

On May 12, eighth graders will head to Horn Creek Conference Center for a dinner at 5:30 p.m.

The last day for seniors is May 13.

The high school band and choir concert will be held on May 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s west gym.

On May 13, middle school awards will be distributed at 8:15 a.m. in the school multi-purpose room.

Students in preschool through second grade will travel to the Pueblo Zoo on May 13.

On May 14, eighth graders will trek to Elitches.

Elementary field day will be held on May 14.

The last day of preschool is May 14.

On May 19, the fourth grade students will perform a play at 9:30 a.m. in the school multi-purpose room.

The first grade students will perform a play on May 19 at 9:30 a.m. in the school great room.

Fifth graders will perform a play on May 19 from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Eighth grade graduation gets underway on May 19 at 7 p.m. in the school west gym.

Baccalaureate for graduating seniors starts at 7 p.m. on May 22.

Graduation for the class of 2009 will take place on May 23 at 2 p.m. in the east gym.
